Some of you have sent me messages asking what made me change the course of my career? Today, I’m here to answer just that and to share a little of my journey in the process. By now I hope you know that I’m a huge advocate of dreaming big, doing better and living an authentic life. After all, the mere fact that I am able to share my story with you on this blog and around the world via my speeches is a dream turned reality. We must not forget though, that in order for things to change or happen, we need to take action. DREAMING is equal to DOING and therefore, it’s the total opposite of just waiting… So, I took a huge leap!
It has been almost two years since I resigned as CEO and Global Planner for Mr. Preston Bailey and that I made the decision to relaunch my business. It was one of the hardest and scariest moves I have made and I do not regret it one bit! I chose family, flexibility, and balance over status. Many thought that I was crazy for leaving one of the most coveted seats in NYC but I knew I was making the right decision. My gut told me so.
